The Stoneblade is built on the Japanese kiridashi form, one of the most practical and versatile blade profiles ever designed. What sets it apart is the finish — after shaping, the blade is faceted on the grinder, creating a unique stone-like texture as flecks of white-hot metal fly. No two Stoneblades look exactly alike.

Crafted from 1084 carbon steel — a blade steel prized for its lasting toughness and exceptional edge retention — each knife is hardened and tempered for the ideal balance between durability and a razor-sharp edge. The asymmetrical grind means the Stoneblade is optimized for either right or left handed use, so make sure to select your preference when ordering.

A handcrafted vegetable-tanned leather sheath completes the package — purpose-built storage for a purpose-built knife.

Our blades are made with high carbon steel. This steel is known for its edge retention and durability. However, unlike stainless steel these blades will naturally oxidize over time and gain a beautiful patina.

Our knives are designed with everyday use in mind and come with an Everyday Structural Guarantee. If for some reason our knives fail to perform as they should, we will replace or repair them at no cost to you. Note that this guarantee does not apply if the knife has been misused or improperly cared for.
