This beautifully rustic ring is crafted with oak that once served as a whiskey barrel. When these whiskey barrels are retired from aging whiskey, we take them into the workshop and create one-of-a-kind rings. Years of holding whiskey gives the wood a rich tone that cannot be found in “new wood”.
Carbon fibre has been molded around the wood, which gives it a hint of modernism and serves to protect it.
A completely unique ring that’s sure to draw compliments.
Because we use natural materials in our rings, your ring may not look exactly like the ring pictured. Every piece of material we use has its own unique colour and grain pattern, which is what makes these rings so beautiful. Your ring will also age distinctly over time.
We opted for wood rings on our wedding day.
Five years into marriage, we’re on our fourth and favourite ring- yours.
Absolutely beautiful.
Thank you 🙏

It is a great ring, it is even lighter than I thought it would be. As someone who never wears a ring its perfect and like wearing nothing at all.
Beautiful very well processed rings!!! Thank you very much. They fit perfectly and are totally light. Everything went smoothly, 100% recommendation.
My fiance loves his ring! Exactly as pictured and fit perfectly. You can't find anything this great in stores - highly recommend!
Everything we make at Origin Handcrafted is created with care, attention, and (most importantly) love.
Why does love matter? Because in a mass-produced world, we believe it's important that the things you buy have love built right into them.
Our goal is for you to love what you own, and that you own it for a lifetime.
Our products come with what we call an everyday structural guarantee, meaning Origin Handcrafted goods can endure everyday wear and tear without cracking, separating or breaking. We do not guarantee our products against unusual abuses or accidents.

I've kept this ring design simple, with a "raw" look to the wood that retains its natural rustic aesthetic. The wood has been salvaged from an old whiskey barrel and has been protected with a resin infusion and oil. There is no superficial clear coat adding gloss or shine to the ring. That means you can truly feel the wood grain against your skin; a warmer sensation than a plastic-feeling lacquer.
Carbon fibre has been moulded around the wood, which gives it a hint of modernism and serves to protect it.

This ring pairs three beautiful natural materials: wood, antler and stone.
The deer antler is first mounted to a piece of oak which has been harvested ethically from locally salvaged whiskey barrels.
Then we inlay a band of crushed turquoise stone in between the two materials adding a nice pop of colour.
Bands of carbon fiber are then wrapped around the edges of the wood, giving the ring superb contrast and providing lasting durability.
If you appreciate the rich character of natural materials, then you’ll absolutely love this ring.

We recognize that we are on Treaty 1 territory and respect the significance of the Bison to Indigenous culture. The bison horn we use in our work is responsibly-sourced from farms here in Manitoba.
Traditionally, the Bison represents strength, endurance, and protection. They embody the spirit of living free and in harmony with nature.
It starts by shaping bison horn by hand, with extra care taken to retain the amazing texture and color of the horn.
Then, for contrast, we take a piece of oak harvested from a retired whiskey barrel and hand-turn it into a thin ring.
Finally, carbon fiber is wrapped around the ring for durability and toughness.
Wear a piece of wild prairie history on your finger with this striking ring.
